Bell Helicopter Collaborates with BIRD Aerosystems on Bell 407 ASIO

Bell Helicopter, an American rotorcraft manufacturer, has announced on July 30, 2015, that they will be integrating the BIRD Aerosystems Surveillance, Intelligence and Observation (ASIO) package in the Bell 407GXP for a complete end-to-end airborne information surveillance and reconnaissance solution (ISR). This ASIO package provides field commanders and decision makers with real-time, accurate maritime and terrestrial information. ASIO is capable of being rapidly deployed in a wide range of configurations, as ASIO is highly-customizable. The ASIO package is a true force multiplier which is ideal for coastal patrol, border surveillance, and irregular warfare requirements. Through the use of ASIO, small crews are able to deliver comprehensive and detailed surveillance information for a large geographic region.
