Cathay receives new toy from Airbus: The A350
Airbus delivers its first of many A350-900 aircraft to Cathay Pacific. Delivered from one of Airbus’ location in Toulouse in southern France on a Sunday morning May 29th. The A350 aircraft will be fueled with 10% diesel and 90 % regular fuel. Even though Cathay just received it they plan on having it departure on June 15th going from Honk Kong to the Manila, Philippines. Cathay becomes the 3rd operator of Airbus A350 XWB in China and the 6th operator worldwide. As Airbus industries continues to promote its luxurious style it ensures that the passenger is fully equipped with entertainment and comfort.

Cathay Pacific Chief Operating Officer Rupert Hogg said. The seats will include WIFI for a certain price depending on how long it is required. With the seats being shrunk by .5 of an inch it is being accommodated with a bigger screen for entertainment. The Aircraft comes equipped with 280 seats in a three class layout. Thirty-eight seats will be business class seats, twenty -eight seats will be premium economy and the remaining 214 seats will be economy. With the goals expansion Cathay is well on its way to more traveling while patiently waiting for more aircrafts.
