Bombardier Promotes Delta Airlines as their Largest Cseries Customer

Cseries

Delta Air Lines is going to receive the largest order of CSeries by the year 2018, which makes Delta the largest consumer for CSeries aircraft. This order shows how the CSeries aircraft is outstanding with its performance and quality, therefore; making it the biggest Bombardier Aerospace in commercial aircraft ever. The Cseries is really a unique aircraft from a performance and economical point of view, the CSeries uses the same technological advances as the A320neo and the 737 MAX with a much newer body parts and other optimizations that no Boeing or Airbus can match.

A deal like this will cost around $5 billion considering the price of each aircraft averaging around $70 million. Another source is saying that Delta is going to receive a large discount for this order which will drop the cost of each aircraft to $25 million. Delta airlines has many narrow-body aircrafts and from these there are around 270 that can seat less than 150 passengers. The CSeries will be a perfect substitute for these airplanes because it offers better economical solutions in addition to the great price Delta is purchasing these aircrafts for. The CSeries is going to be a great replacement to the oldest aircrafts with low seat capacity.

Few airline companies didn’t initially agreed to the new CSeries for the worry of whether the aircraft is going to be a success and or reach high production demand. Now, it’s believed that the more airline companies are going to be ordering from the CSeries and Delta Air Lines is going to be the reason for this project to start.
