A Brief on the Acquisition Story: Conxall was acquired by Switchcraft in 1997 to expand Switch raft’s offering of harsh environment connectivity products. Switchcraft was established in 1946as a manufacturer of communication products. Switchcraft was bought out by Raytheon Corporation as an independent subsidiary in its commercial division for only twenty years. By acquiring Switchcraft, Raytheon expanded its production capability that offered vertical integration. Switchcraft also expanded the market growth of Raytheon by offering harsh environment connector products. In 1997, Raytheon made a decision to focus solely on the defense industry. Because of the strategic decision, Raytheon sold Switchcraft to company management and a private company. In 2011, Switchcraft was acquired by Heico Corporation. Heico Corporation acquired Switchcraft because Heico believed Switchcraft would broaden their interconnect offering.   • The industrial product segment consists of connectors, jacks and plugs, molded cable assemblies, telecom patch bays & patch cords, and industrial switches. They are used for harsh environments and are used in a variety of applications such as medical equipment, manufacturing data equipment, GPS tracking and data logging systems and security applications.
• Pro Audio/Broadcast:
  • The pro audio/ broadcast segment consists of connectors (audio, video, and data), jacks & plugs, direct boxes, splitters, I/O panels and adapters patch bays (audio, video, and data), cable assemblies and patch cords, and guitar products. The pro audio/broadcast segments offers connectors that are used to create cable assemblies, custom I/O panels and wall plates for A/V, pro audio, broadcasts, mobile application and etc.
